Ajay Khorana, PhD, serves as dean of the Lubin School of Business and a professor of finance at ����ר��. He brings to the position a rare blend of senior industry leadership and deep academic experience, making him uniquely equipped to guide Lubin into its next era of growth and strategic impact.

Khorana’s career spans more than three decades across both academia and industry. Most recently, he served as global treasurer for the U.S. Personal Banking and Global Wealth businesses at Citigroup, where he oversaw strategic financial planning, risk management, and capital allocation for a $400 billion balance sheet. Over the course of nearly twenty years at Citi, he held several senior roles of influence and responsibility. His ability to navigate complex global markets, while simultaneously aligning corporate strategy with long-term growth objectives, positioned him as a trusted advisor to leaders in business and finance.

Prior to his distinguished career at Citi, Khorana spent more than a decade in academia. He held faculty appointments at Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business and the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. A respected scholar and a gifted teacher, his research has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals, and he is known for inspiring students to achieve excellence inside and outside the classroom.
