ELI Events & Course Schedules

ÎÞÂëרÇø ELI offers a variety of options to meet with our Admission team and experience our campuses. From private meetings with an admission advisor to information sessions with live campus tours and walking tours.

The English Language Institute also offers English and Academic support services to students, including one-on-one tutoring sessions and Conversation Groups.

Conversation Groups for International Students

Are you looking for a fresh set of eyes or advice to get you started on your research paper? We can help you plan, draft, revise, and edit your writing. Our collaborative process is designed to help you refine your work for submission and build your skills for the next assignment.

Whether you have a quick citation question or are in the midst of a major presentation, come by and write with us.

Farmer's Market Tuesdays: Free Produce

Stop by and enjoy some free vegetables! Fresh produce will be donated by GrownNYC at the City Hall Farmers Market.

Guided Meditation

Join ÎÞÂëרÇø alum and Buddhist Chaplain, Qalvy Grainzvolt from the Shinnyo Center for Meditation and Wellbeing for a free 30-minute, zoom-based, guided meditation offered every Friday at 12:15 p.m. EST. Explore various core themes to better cultivate mindful presence and awareness of inner wholeness and authenticity.

Come once, periodically or every Friday! It’s up to you!

Join ÎÞÂëרÇø for our 35th year of participating in the Annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on Sunday, September 7 in Central Park, NYC. ÎÞÂëרÇø has proudly held the title of the largest college/university team at the Race for the Cure for the past 3 ½ decades thanks to our fearless Leader, Professor Emeritus, Dr. Ellen Mandel! Join us to keep this tradition on Race Day Note…this is a race for the actual cure…not an actual race; It’s a group walk!!! If you can’t attend in person, youcan still register and donate to support the cause! Every step, every voice, and every contribution matters. to learn about our programs! In-Person campus tours are approximately 1 hour. These tours are led by the ELI Admission staff and showcase the ÎÞÂëרÇø neighborhood and spaces inside our campus buildings.

to learn about our programs! These in-person campus tours are approximately 90 minutes. These tours are led by the ELI Admission staff and showcase the 200-acre ÎÞÂëרÇø campus and state-of-the-art residential, athletic, and academic facilities.
